Kevin Wagner Funeral Director

Kevin Aaron Wagner was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. As a third generation funeral director, Kevin has had experience working with other funeral directors and in funeral homes since graduating high school. He graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Service in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was the chaplain of his class. The day he received his Mortuary Science license in 2002, Kevin went into business for himself as a skilled trade embalmer. In the following ten years as a specialist subcontractor, he was able to provide the funeral directors he worked for, the opportunity to spend more one-on-one time with the families they served.

After obtaining his Michigan license in 2010, Kevin began to utilize his abilities to assist families more directly, making arrangements and running funerals. With both sets of skills refined, he moved into a managerial role in order to pursue his dream of owning and operating his own funeral home. He was given this opportunity in the fall of 2017 when he was approached by Fred and Michele Walsh. After a fifteen-month transition period, he and the Walshes reached an agreement, and on January 1, 2019, Kevin became the owner of the newly-named Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors.

Kevin is the blessed husband of Adrian Wagner, whom he married in 2011. He is also the proud father of two children, his son Tristan and daughter Ayla. Aside from enjoying his work, he is also a private pilot and enjoys riding his motorcycle in the warmer months. Kevin is passionate of his vocation, and continues to appreciate his continued development of relationships with the community of Roscommon.
